People try to defend their worldly dressing and they are even
using it to defend their self-righteousness. Make ups and jewelries are
evil things, no matter how good you are and no matter how you justify
them by saying you use them without evil intentions. Love not the world
rings out more loudly.
1 John 2:15-17 "Love not the world,
neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the
love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the
lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is
not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and
the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
It specifies, "Nor the things of the world." It
is better to be safe than sorry. True Christians need not to appear
gaudy, adorned by silver and gold, immodest, and with worldly designs
and lifestyles. Jewelries and make ups are devilish products. Emmanuel
Amos Eni said in his confession "that these thing sare manufactured by the evil kingdom, and Satan always wants to corrupt the natural beauty God has given to human

Salvation is by grace through faith, but true faith produces
total obedience to His Word. God's grace is not a license to make a
Christian appear like the ungodly people of this world, but to "deny ungodliness and worldly lusts"
(Titus 2:11-12). No matter how you defend yourself, you still have no
alternative but to obey. To obey is better than sacrifice.
The Assemblies of God (the largest Pentecostal organization in
the world) formerly denounces wearing makeup, immodest dresses, and
wearing jewelries and calls it of the devil. Thank God there are still a
lot of church groups and organizations who have not lowered down the
standards of inward and outward holiness but rather wave its banned in
the midst of sinful world.
These church groups includes the Amish, the Mennonites, The Hutterites, The Deeper Christian Life Ministry, the Apostolic Faith Churches, The Holiness churches of God, the apostolic Oneness churches, The Lord’s Chosen charismatic revival ministries, some independent Baptists, the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI).
PASTOR ADEBOYE SPEAK AGAINT IMMODESTY DRESSING IN THE CHURCH
And also the Redeemed Church of God, in addition to this fact;
few years ago, Pastor E.A Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed
Church of God voiced publicly against jewelries, wigs, bleaches and
makes ups. Below are the details of what he said:
The elder have a say, "if children of the same mother enters
into a room to talk and come out smiling, they have not told each other
the truth. Alright, so in the next 3 minutes, you might not be smiling, because am going to tell you the truth,
because am your daddy, strictly speaking, and I have search the
scripture, there is no where that I have found where it is written, if
you wear make-up, you will go to hell or you will not make it to heaven.
I can’t find it in the bible, nowhere at all, but I have done my own research, there are two places in the whole bible where references were made. Painting of face, only two places, and the two places are bad.
- The first of the places is talking about Jezebel, how many of you will name your daughter Jezebel. 2 kings 9:30"And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window" The day Jezebel was going to die, she make up, properly, painted her face, dented her face with jewelries, at the end of the day, and dog ate her.
- The second place, Jeremiah 4;30" And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; thy lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life.
God was speaking in anger saying, daughters of Zion, when I make
up my mind to deal with you, you can paint your face as you like, it is
not going to deliver you, read it, you have your bible to read, those
are the only two places I found, and they are terrible references.
Now as far as am concerned, it is up to you to decide
how you want to look, you want to make up, you want to paint yourself,
you are at liberty because life is personal. If for any reasons
whatsoever God decides not to allow you to enter heaven!!sorryyyyyyy

The point am making is this, nobody ever add sugar to honey, have you seen anybody adding sugar to honey. Anytime you see a piece of furniture that is painted, wooden furniture that is painted, the wood is inferior, when the wood is ebony, nobody paint it, no-no-no. I think children of God should realize they are precious enough, by the special grace of God and by shed blood of Jesus Christ, they are honey, they don’t need sugar.

Some people go about in the name of fashion wearing wigs, am not being judgmental at all, this is not law, there is nowhere in the bible, which is says if you wear wigs, you can make it to heaven, but this hair, that you are wearing, from whose head was it cut?
Thou anointed my head. The world is so bad now that some ladies come for ordination with wigs and attachment on their head. I always asked them which one, do you want me to anoint, the wig or the head?
I read something in the book of Revelation 7;1-3 "And
after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of
the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not
blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. And I saw another
angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he
cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to
hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea,
nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their
foreheads.
Some Angels were sent from heaven to deal with the inhabitants
of the world, after the rapture, the bible says I heard , the Almighty
God said, before you begin to deal with people , let me mark them, let
me seal them on their forehead, so that we know those that the bullet
should not hit.

If what we wear does not matter, why do you think the army wears
uniforms? Probably, because that they will not accidentally shot their
comrade. Therefore, can God recognize you at a glance, that you a child
of God? Some people says it does not matter, what is inside is what is
important. I agree, but what is inside will show outside, it will
manifest on the outside.
It will show, don’t let anybody deceived you. When I became general overseas newly. I brought a group of teachers to come and teach in the bible college, and they began to teach series of doctrine we didn’t bargain for. They were teaching them God is not interested in the outside but he is interested in the inside and they began to tag me as been too strict to my godly believes.

So I went to oyingbo market (Lagos State, Nigeria) to buy two
oranges, one ripe and the other green all over because my bible students
were beginning to turn to rebels, and God gave me wisdom. So, I stood before the class and I said, which of these oranges will you take, if I ask you to pick one?
They all pointed at the yellow and ripe one and I said why? They said because that one is going to be the sweeter one. Then I asked; how do you know? Moreover, you have not seen the inside; they said what is inside is showing outside. Hallelujah.

PASTOR LAZARUS SPEAK AGAINST IMMODESTY DRESSING IN THE CHURCH
As preacher; ensure the lightness and the goodness of your
ministry shine before men. Don't just preach what people want to hear
but rather preached what will pricked their heart and ensure you abide
and let the world known and identity you by your believes.
This also reminded us about the encounter Pastor Lazarus Muoka; the general overseer of “The Lord’s Chosen charismatic revival ministries” speech on the important of modesty dressing in the church. He
emphasizes his reason based on the encounter he has many years ago when
he was invited to preach on a certain church in Europe, which
congregation were mostly dominates in immodesty dressing.
Below are the details of what he said:
Some years past i was invited for a church program and the Host
pleaded with me to preach to his congregation. However I replied "Sir, i
believe you fully understand the biblical doctrine i always uphold.
Moreover, you can behold most of your congregation are in immodesty
attires and i can't preach a message without emphasizing about the
important of inward and outward purity"
The Host pastor responded and asks me to proceed because that
was reason why he invited me in the first place, so that i can preach to
them. Nevertheless, when I mounted the pulpit, instantly; diverse
manifestation of miracles, breakthrough, broken of yokes, bondage and
instant testimonies spread like whirlwind.
In my usual manner; I concluded the sermon with salvation
messages, enlisting various kinds of sinfulness, indicating them all by
their names such as envy, anger, unforgiveness, lying, hatred, malice,
murmuring, gossiping, stealing, taking or giving bribe, exams
malpractice, fraud, smuggling and robber.
Masturbation, fornication, adultery, prostitution, Lusting after
MONEY and SEX, abortion, lesbianism, homosexuality, kidnapping, ritual
killings and assassination, fighting and quarreling, alcoholism,
smokers, divorcee, polygamous marriage and pleaded those who are into
such sinfulness to embrace lightness of God’s salvation through Jesus
Christ.
And finally, i concluded by admonishing the congregation who
indulged into worldly fashions, dressing in transparent clothes, wearing
of mini and tightly skirts, trousers, exposing your breast, lapse to
seduce men. Painting of lips, fixing attachments, weave-on, jewelries
and earrings, makeup’s, putting on extra eye lashes, piercing of noses,
tattoos, nails fixing and body bleaching and all form of immodesty
dressing to eschew them, burns them off and embraced godly modesty in
serving God in purity of heart.
I can recalled vividly; after that message, "I felt pity
and sorry for the pastor that invited me because it will takes the
grace of God for the congregation to returned back to the church due to
the undiluted word of God i ministered to them in the first day of the
programmed"
However, in the night i heard a song which sang "Amen, Jesus says Amen...!" When i awoke i was surprised by the song ministration but it later dawn to me that indeed "HEAVEN APPROVED MY GODLY MESSAGE"
Howbeit, the next day been the grand finale of the programmed; in fact the whole church auditorium were jammed-packed with massive trooped of brethren but this time; in a glorious modesty attire presentation. This great revival eventual brought a new godly era in that church till date because a preachers refuse to adulterate his messages and biblical doctrine in the church. Hallelujah...!
Howbeit, the next day been the grand finale of the programmed; in fact the whole church auditorium were jammed-packed with massive trooped of brethren but this time; in a glorious modesty attire presentation. It's their Bible that brought them to where they are today. Therefore,
ensure you always carry your Bible, Read and Meditate upon it daily in
order to be remembered as a godly preacher; so that the light of God in
you will shine before men.
THE DOCTRINE OF MODESTY DRESSING IN THE CHURCH
The church of Christ must remain unspotted from the world. They
must preach that women should not wear trouser (pants) and immodest
apparel. They must condemned and preach that wearing of makeup’s and
jewelries are sinful and worldliness.
The godly church with aim of helping her sheep in making Heaven, must always preach against the influence cause by the evils in worldly movies, televisions, radios, theaters, dancing halls, alcoholic drinks, computer and internet games, participation in wars and killings, abortion, homosexuality and same-sex marriage, occult and horoscopes, new age philosophies, etc.

NARROW IS THE GATE, AND ONLY A FEW THERE THAT FIND IT. Those who
justify wearing makeup and jewelries are candidates for the great
tribulation. But those who denied all these worldly and fleshly things
will receive greater rewards. To who is much given, much is required!
Why does today modern churches find it too hard to surrender
unto church modesty doctrine and forsakes makeups and jewelries? Why? It
is because of their pride, rebellion, and desire for the praise of men
and earthly treasure?
They want to act proud and decided not to accept the way
God made them and they still keep on trying to please men and
themselves rather than desire the most simple, natural, and humble walk
with God. They can’t surrender their makeups and jewelries and
their immodesty because they still have the desire to feed their fleshly
natures and appear like the rest of the world.
Satan wants to destroy Deuteronomy 22:5 "The
woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a
man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto
the Lord thy God" Satan wants you to doubt God's Word about
women's uncut hair. Satan wants you to remain on your worldly
reasoning’s, so that you may not be able to go with Christ in the
rapture. Christians cannot get crowns without the cross, and the Cross
represents not just the Gospel, but also living the Gospel.

To live in the Gospel is to renounce all worldly things, to deny
yourself, to deny all your worldly desires, to deny all your arguments
to the obedience of the Scriptures, to deny your longing for makeup’s,
trousers, and jewelries, to deny your flesh.
The Cross is a way of total obedience, total consecration, total
holiness, total purity, total sanctification, total dedication, total
separation from worldliness. The Cross is a life of Jesus Christ who

Jesus gave His whole life, even His blood. And now you say you

submission, consecration, and total separation from the world.
Why keep on insisting on justifying makeup and jewelries while
all of these things are just material things? Will you allow these
material things to hinder your consecration to God and eventually end up
in hell because of pride and vanities? Salvation is God's free gift to
us, purchased at Calvary, and received by us through faith in Jesus
Christ. Salvation is past, present, and future. The complete
work of salvation is because of God's grace. God's grace is not
automatic, but rather resistible.
Man has given free will, and, although God's grace is God's unmerited favor to man, man can reject His favor by rebellion and not submission to His will. Salvation is not taken away. It's always there through the covering of the Blood of Christ. But man chooses to disobey His word, and so the grace of God cannot get a hold of man's freedom to choose.

The Lord is gentle, His Holy Spirit is gentle. He will not force
us to obey His Word by legalism and by works. God respects man's free
will. But man's free will to do evil is not approved by God, that's why
repentance is necessary. God's grace enables us to repent, if we yield
to His will by obeying His Word.
The grace of God leads us to submit to water baptism in Jesus
name; to bury our sinful nature. Through the grace of God, He gives us
His Holy Spirit that we might overcome sin, the devil, and the world. Acts 2:38 "Then
Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the
name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the
gift of the Holy Ghost" and Romans 6:1-6. God's grace is sufficient for us, but if we keep on disobeying His Word, we will face the wrath of God.
Why? Because God is bound in His own Word, Calvary does not free
us from His moral law, but rather gave us the ability to walk above sin
and worldliness. Christians, even those who call themselves
Spirit-filled are grieving and quenching the fire of the Holy Spirit by
continue justifying their love for makeups, women trousers jewelries,
immodest dresses, worldly hairstyles, and unsound opinions and worldly
principles.
The Holy Spirit speaks inwardly and by Holy Ghost filled
preachers. The Author of the Scriptures, the Holy Spirit of God Himself
is the same One God who speaks to us. The Lord will never contradict His
Word. If women wearing man's clothes (or vice versa) is an abomination
to Him before, it remains abomination to Him forever, for He never
changes (Deut. 22:5, Heb.13:8).
